In this act, the audience looks down into a woman’s robotic world. Through her sharp movements, she appears cold, her face a mask to you. Using her trapeze to shield herself from you, she never strays far from her comfort zone. Over time, her composure begins to crack, and flashes of her natural self begin to shine through. Relaxing slightly, she begins to feel more comfortable in her own skin. Stripping off layers of strength and composure, she moves more fluidly, baring her true self to you. Doing this, she finds herself independent, no longer needing to hide behind her apparatus, she is free.
